A patented 300-watt double socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets. each holding on/off 150-watt incandescent bulbs or equivalent CFLs. which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere using a 150-watt 3-way bulb and illuminates an entire room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. Bulbs are not included. The three-way switch adjusts the light from the low setting to the high setting to the off position.
